Crispy tawilis

Pritong tawilis is a perfect side-dish with other foods although you can also consider it as a main dish. It may be eaten also as a pulutan (finger food when having drinks with friends).



  • Tawilis fish
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Magic sarap
  • Flour
  • Oil for frying


  1. In the mixing bowl marinate the tawilis fish with salt, pepper and magic sarap then coated with flour before to fry.
  2. Dip fry the coated tawilis until crispy and golden brown.
  3. Serve the crispy tawilis with spicy vinegar and enjoy.
