Native Chicken Tinola Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Native chicken
  • 1 pc papaya
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 big onion
  • 1 big thumb of ginger
  • 3 tbsp. fish sauce
  • 1 cup Malunggay leaves
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1⁄2 tsp. Pepper
  • 1⁄2 tsp. Seasoning Granules
  • Water for soup
  • Oil for sauté

Instructions

  1. In the preheated pan add oil and ginger then saute.
  2. Add the onion and stir. Then add the sliced garlic and stir well.
  3. Add the native chicken and season with fish sauce, salt and pepper. Then cook until the color turns light brown and cover.
  4. Add the water then cover and let boil and for 45 minutes.
  5. Add the papaya and cook for 20 minutes
  6. Lastly, add the malunggay leaves and stir and cook for 1 minute.
  7. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve hot. Share and enjoy!
